A valid referral from a doctor is required before booking an appointment or investigation.
All referrals are reviewed and triaged according to clinical urgency. Non-urgent appointments may involve extended wait times.
For urgent referrals or urgent neurological advice, referring healthcare professionals are encouraged to contact the practice directly.

Northwest Neurology provides specialised neurophysiology testing to assist in diagnosing disorders affecting the nerves, muscles, spinal cord, and brain.
Testing may include:
- Electromyography (EMG)
- Nerve conduction studies (NCS)
- Electroencephalography (EEG)
These investigations help provide accurate information to guide diagnosis and treatment planning.
EEG Testing
EEG testing records electrical activity within the brain and is commonly used in the investigation of epilepsy and other neurological conditions.
Our team provides EEG testing in a calm and supportive clinical environment, with preparation guidance provided before your appointment.
Botulinum Toxin Treatments
Botulinum toxin injections may be recommended for a range of neurological conditions including chronic migraine, dystonia, spasticity, facial spasm, and other neurological conditions.
Treatment plans are tailored to each patient’s individual condition and clinical needs.
Northwest Neurology also provides Greater Occipital Nerve (GON) block treatment for selected headache and migraine conditions.
